Ellison gets Secure again and locks in his identity

Passlogix's technology fits like a glove into the overall strategy of the man in charge. Digesting Hurd is in the rear-view mirror, yesterdays gossip,  he has rolled up once again. With the purchase of Passlogix, a company/product he already resells, Oracle now has a solid comprehensive stack of management, integration and security software complementing the company's existing products.  This acquisition gives them an identity management platform, providing clients with a complete set of enterprise tools to address regulatory demands.  Spending over $40B in acquisitions of over a dozen companies either makes this "Game Plan" insane or genius.  I am anticipating more news as the model proves out and other companies hoard cash in these uncertain times.  With Ballmer still thinking dividend and stuck in neutral, HP a real mess, watch out Symantec, my guess is your next.  Enrique, are you listening?
